Huperzine, Huperzine A

What is Huperzine or Huperzine A?
HUPERZINE is an extract of the Chinese Club Moss plant Huperzia serrata. It is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, which means it prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine. This also means it is a cholinergic, as it increases the amount of acetylcholine in the brain. Huperzine’s primary benefit is as a #nootropic.
What is Huperzine Used For?
In medicine, #Huperzine A is used for Alzheimer’s disease, memory and learning enhancement, and age-related memory impairment. It is also used for treating a muscle disease called myasthenia gravis, for increasing alertness and energy, and for protecting against agents that damage the nerves such as nerve gases.
In pre workouts, Huperzine is added to give mental focus, and as we all know, the more focus you have in the gym the better!
How Does Huperzine Work?
Huperzine causes an increase in the levels of #acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is one of the chemicals that our nerves use to communicate in the brain, muscles, and other areas.
Huperzine Side Effects:
